Love Your Block: Legacy in Bloom

Our first grant-funded community service project.

Funded by a Bloomberg Philanthropies / Johns Hopkins Love Your Block grant via the City of Long Beach. Our youth-led community service day brought scholars and volunteers together for neighborhood beautification.

Legacy in Bloom Scholarship Celebration

Four scholars. One $2,500 award each. A room full of believers.

Four inaugural scholars received their $2,500 awards surrounded by family, sponsors, and community leaders. Long Beach City Councilwoman Tunua Thrash-Ntuk spoke at the event.

Long Beach Gives 2025

$7,000 raised in 24 hours — our first Long Beach Gives.

Our first Long Beach Gives campaign, in partnership with Chick-fil-A, introduced LLSF to the broader Long Beach giving community.

February 2025

LLSF Launch Party

Where it all began — 60+ gathered to launch a movement.

Over 60 community members gathered for Lauren’s Legacy’s public debut to launch the movement, spread awareness of the mission, and raise our first dollars for the scholarship fund.
